Giorno 8 – 20/09/2023 CAPE BRETON ISLAND – PEGGY’S COVE
After leaving Cape Breton Island, we head back south because there's an incredible town waiting for us: we're going to experience van life at Peggy’s Cove! During the journey, we stop to fill up water from a natural spring and have a beautiful encounter. A local gentleman assures us that the water we're filling is pure and comes from the mountain; he has been getting water here since his childhood. We couldn't be happier as we listen to snippets of life from unknown people we met by chance.
Giorno 9 – 21/09/2023
Among incredible drone shots and romantic legends, we visit the tiny town of Peggy’s Cove, which hosted us for a night during our van life adventure and gave us an priceless view of the sea right from the back hatch. During the walk, we take you to see the famous Fishermen's Monument by artist DeGarthe and explain its significance.
Tommaso is the typical cat, very curious, and while we take photos, I have to hold him close to me so he doesn't jump out. Of course, we'll let him take a stroll because there's so much nature around here that it would be a shame not to let him enjoy it too.
